The inspiration for the narratives and images of The Lost Mansion of Sojourn series has origins in real experiences we have had. Here are some of the references that have become part of this world.

The above gate to the Music School at the Tokyo National University of Fine Art became the door/hatch in the mountain scene in WyveCrest. I shot this image when I was in Tokyo in 2009.
